The Arizona Yoga Association, known as 'AYA' is a 501(c)4 non-profit, member run organization.
In 1993, Marie Kearney, resident of Tucson, founded and organized the Arizona Yoga Association
based upon the inspiring concepts she drew from attending the Unity in Yoga Conference (now Yoga Alliance)
held that same year.
Mission: *To serve our community by sharing ideas, knowledge and techniques of yoga practice and theory.
*To serve as a support system for the professional Yoga community.
*To promote the benefits and universality of Yoga in the community and the world.
*To act as a central reference source for all Arizona yoga activities.
